Epson Express Recycle Programme

Edward Martin Computer Services is a member of Epson's network of independent computer specialists.

We offer authorised repair services and stock a comprehensive range of the latest Epson products.

Inkjet Printer Cartridge Recycling Programme.

We now have an Epson recycling bin where you can place your inkjet or toner cartridges and then Epson will ensure they are disposed of correctly.

How does Epson recycle printer Cartridges?

Once the inkjet Cartridges have been collected and the bins are full, they are sent to a recycling plant where the cartridges are separated into different material streams for further treatment. An ink cartridge consists mainly of plastics, which are processed into granulated plastic, which can then be used to build other products. The small percentages of different metals that are contained in the ink cartridge are sent to a metal smelter which, through further treatment, separates the different metals in clean streams which can also be reused in new products.
